This year STEP Head Start partnered with both Williamsport Area and Keystone Central School Districts to have their registrars on site to complete the kindergarten registration process with parents.
In Lycoming County, we had 56 Head Start Preschool children’s registrations completed by their parent during our 2 ½ day event; with 14 children registered prior due to having an IEP, for a total of 70 completed registrations.
In Clinton County, we had 16 Head Start Preschool parents attend to complete the registration process. Keystone Central School District staff were also on site to complete kindergarten screenings, with a total of 33 children completing the screening portion of the registration process.
