Early Intervention Resources 

Blast IU17: BLaST Intermediate Unit 17 is proud to support our schools and communities across the Bradford, Lycoming, Sullivan, and Tioga County region. Our mission is providing, creating, and facilitating high-quality educational solutions. (Ages 3-5 years old) 

Central Intermediate Unit 10: The Central Intermediate Unit 10 Preschool Early Intervention Program is a year-round system that identifies and provides early intervention special education services to eligible young children in the Clinton County region. (Ages 3-5 years old) 

SAM-Service Access & Management, Inc: Early Intervention Service Coordination helps support families and meet the needs of infants and toddlers, birth to age 3, who have a developmental delay or disability. Early Intervention services can be provided in the home or local community. (Tioga County)

PA Kin Connector: PA KinConnector provides guidance, advice, and support for grandparents raising grandchildren and other relative and non-relative Kinship Caregivers 

CHIP-Children’s Health Insurance Program: The Children's Health Insurance Program — or CHIP — is Pennsylvania's program to provide health coverage to uninsured children and teens who are not eligible for or enrolled in Medicaid/Medical Assistance. Regardless of the reasons your children might not have health insurance, CHIP may be able to help you. 

PA WIC: The Pennsylvania Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) has improved the nutrition and health of families in Pennsylvania since 1974 by providing nutrition services, breastfeeding support, health care and social service referrals, and healthy foods. Through WIC, pregnant women, mothers, and caregivers of infants and young children learn about good nutrition to keep themselves and their families healthy!

PA Promise for Children: Guide to information, activities and programs to help young children develop (includes the Early Learning GPS and Kindergarten readiness activities) 

Register to Vote: To vote in Pennsylvania, you must first register to vote at least 15 days before the election. You can register to vote online, by mail, or at a number of government agencies, including Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) Photo License and Driver’s License Centers. 

Get a Birth Certificate: A birth certificate is an official legal document that summarizes a person's birth record. In Pennsylvania, a birth certificate is printed on specialized security paper and contains a raised seal.  This document is frequently used to prove identity when applying for a passport, employment, driver's license, social security card and school enrollment.
